Since the subject comes up (and, hopefully, quickly goes down) in Nov-Dec, how about a seriously realistic lecture on the subject? You might find fodder here for half a dozen future topics.
This is not to dismiss the importance of continuing to pursue research in genetics and neuroscience: this is far more likely to yield long-term results than chasing vaccines or any of the other toxic fantasies of the environmentalists.
